As a Lab Patient Technician, you will greet patients, collect specimens, and ensure testing protocols are followed. This part-time float position requires flexibility, as you'll cover various locations, including weekends. Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and explain specimen collection processes
• Perform phlebotomies and ECG tracings
• Conduct special test collections and document results
• Maintain relationships with patients and respond to inquiries
• Prepare specimens for testing and transportation
Requirements:
• Graduate of a Laboratory Assistant program preferred
• Experience in phlebotomy and ECG
• Good computer skills, minimum 40 wpm typing
