Junior Environmental Technologist or Scientist

About the Position

At Onterris, as a Junior Engineer/Scientist based in Grande Prairie, you will assist multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi‑disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.

Compensation: $25.00 to $34.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the field coordination and execution of Phase II environmental site assessments, remediation and groundwater monitoring programs.
• Support soil and vegetation assessments.
• Participate in spill responses and associated clean‑up activities.
• Travel as required to support field programs.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Assist with other service line projects when needed.
