Enhance youth experiences as a Junior Camp Counsellor at Camp Smitty, BGC Ottawa's pristine lakefront camp. Engage with campers aged 8-16 and support dynamic programs in a vibrant setting.
Located in Eganville, ON, this role involves assisting the Camp Manager to deliver exceptional camp experiences. You will lead activities, model positive behaviors, and develop strong relationships with campers. The position requires collaboration with both campers and fellow staff to ensure safety and enjoyment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and lead camp programs in coordination with the Camp Manager
• Participate actively in all camp activities and responsibilities
• Support fellow counselors in program delivery
• Ensure a clean and organized program area
• Communicate camper needs and concerns effectively to supervisors
