Job Description
Seasonal Jump Crew (Attendant, Sport) – FULL TIME (40–44+ hours per week) Expected Placement: May 4, 2026 – September 14, 2026. Location: Spruce Meadows, 18011 Spruce Meadows Way SW, Calgary, AB T2X 4B7. Wage: $16.60–$25 per hour depending on experience. Number of Openings: 30.
Spruce Meadows is a world‑renowned show‑jumping venue located in southwest Calgary, Alberta. Events are held on weekends, so workers must be available for weekends, overtime, early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights. Shifts will fluctuate to coincide with tournament activity.
Job Duties
- Set up three to four outdoor competition rings and adjacent warm‑up rings for each tournament day.
- Measure heights, widths and distances of obstacles and ensure they meet Equestrian Canada (EC) and Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) standards.
- Help set up sports timing equipment.
- Assist in the equine ambulance drill and emergency animal removal.
