About The Role
Amrize is looking for a Journeyman Welder. This role will require welding experience in a plant setting. The qualified candidate must be proficient in welding 6 schedule 40 pipe, 1.5 heat trace pipe, fabrication, building steel structures from engineered blueprints and basic site maintenance.
This is a medium paced production environment, so a mechanical aptitude is important. You will need to be a safety minded individual who can think on their feet and adapt to changing situations.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Perform welding repair and maintenance to production-related equipment, machinery, and structures.
- Utilize various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join metal components according to project specifications.
