Job Description
Elevate your finance career with Butterfield as an Assistant Financial Controller. Oversee crucial accounting tasks and support high-quality reporting in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
In this role, you will report to the AVP, Planning and Analysis/Controller while managing daily accounting responsibilities and collaborating with the Finance team. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance, completing the accounting close, and recommending process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee complete Accounts Payable processes and controls
• Execute monthly and yearly accounting close activities
• Prepare and present financial variance reports for analysis
• Work proactively to resolve issues with management and vendors
• Assist with external audits and special projects as required
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration/Commerce, CPA preferred
