Position Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the company’s invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense workflows with accuracy and efficiency. This role ensures timely payments, maintains strong vendor relationships, and supports the financial integrity and reporting accuracy of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Invoice Processing

• Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and proper approval.
• Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system and ensure correct GL coding.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.

Payment Management

• Prepare weekly/monthly payment runs (cheques, ACH, wire transfers, online payments).
