Job Overview

Investment Associate Co‑op – CIBC Private Investment Council – Montreal, QC – Fixed‑term 4 months (September 2026 to December 2026). On‑site full‑time.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Investment Counsellors to manage client portfolios and pursue new business opportunities.
• Follow up on client and IC requests to ensure proper settlement and delivery of services.
• Investigate and resolve account inquiries and complaints, referring to the IC when required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third‑party partners such as accountants.
• Collect client information and documentation for account opening, and manage related administrative tasks.
• Review incoming mail and telephone calls, and organize office resources for efficient operation.
• Prepare and distribute client materials, including marketing packages, proposals, and Investment Policy Statements.
