Join the Cariboo Memorial Hospital Internal Medicine team in beautiful Williams Lake. This General Internist role emphasizes managing inpatient care and collaborating with a strong surgical team.
We are expanding our IM team and need a confident internist to help shape our evolving program. You will oversee the High Acuity Unit and participate in community healthcare alongside family physicians. Your role includes handling emergency department consults and exploring possible interests in cardiology, respirology, or rheumatology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee inpatient care and procedures in HAU
• Collaborate with family physicians and surgical teams
• Provide consultative services for emergency cases
• Share on-call responsibilities on a 1:4 rotation
• Foster medical teaching and engage with research initiatives
