Primary Care physicians are central to ensuring effective health promotion and disease prevention, managing chronic illness and coordinating specialty care. Board-Certified Primary Care physicians throughout Montefiore's network are available in a variety of settings in the Bronx and Westchester County, including hospitals, clinics and individual practice locations.

Our ambulatory care centers, many of which have been designated as patient-centered medical homes, are highly accessible, provide proactive and seamless care, and engage patients in their own health. We provide healthcare services in Family and Social Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as diagnostics and educational programs.
