Internal Control Manager

Position Overview

AML Internal Auditors are needed to support a client engagement in the financial services sector in Toronto. The team will include consultants and managers at the AML Internal Audit level.

Manager Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end execution of enterprise-level Financial Crimes and AML audit projects using a risk-based approach.
• Review clients’ operational processes to identify potential enhancements and assess and mitigate risk.
• Execute independent assessments of clients’ AML compliance program against regulatory requirements, guidance and industry practices.
• Manage audit coordination and validation of remediated Financial Crimes-related regulatory findings.
• Support clients’ Internal Audit AML functions in executing and leading AML internal audits, including control testing and validation of management remediation to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
