Job Description
Embark on a foundational career path with Seaspan Shipyards as an intern in Ship Completions Planning. This full-time position, based in North Vancouver, offers hands-on experience and a chance to engage with the National Shipbuilding Strategy.
Seaspan is looking for an intern entering their second or third year of university, equipped with strong problem-solving and organizational skills. In this role, you will manage micro schedules and assist in developing team plans and dashboards. Your analytical approach and commitment to deadlines will help the team meet critical deliverables and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage weekly micro schedules and update forecasts
• Develop Schedule Health metrics to identify and resolve issues
• Support the schedule change management process
• Assist in creating an internal team dashboard
• Collaborate with T&T Schedulers to consolidate schedules
