The Opportunity Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer – based in Edmonton, AB or willing to relocate.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage geotechnical investigations, complete interpretation and reporting of findings, on a wide variety of transportation, municipal, land development and resource related projects
Geotechnical analysis of stability, stress, deformation, and foundation response utilizing a suite of software platforms
Provide oversight, risk management and technical input to geotechnical projects and deliverables
Coordinate field projects, including prequalification, safety clearances and procurement of sub-contractors and sub-consultants as required
Prepare concise geotechnical reports complete with pertinent recommendations
Carry out and supervise field inspection of construction works
Prepare fee estimates and proposals for geotechnical assignments
