Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer
Job Description
The role involves working closely with senior engineers, project managers and design support staff on projects mainly in Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley. It includes providing guidance to junior staff and acting as Engineer of Record or supporting design engineering on assignments.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Preparing proposals, scopes and budgets
- Supporting geotechnical site investigations
- Conducting geotechnical analysis and preparing reports
- Supporting design submissions such as Issued for Permit drawings and Issued for Construction drawings
- Preparing Letters of Assurance documents to Building Authority as required
- Supporting project construction meetings and technical inquiries
- Conducting field reviews to support EoR quality assurance and preparing field review reporting
