Job Description
Position Purpose
Under the supervision of the Senior Specialist, Research Management, performs a variety of activities in support of the sector's financial operations, while ensuring compliance with related policies and procedures. Participates in other administrative functions (maintenance of office equipment, mail distribution, etc.) as required.
What you will bring
- Knowledge of administrative and accounting principles, normally acquired through post‑secondary education in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- At least two years of demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of computer systems and software, including financial systems, spreadsheets, databases, Internet and e‑mail.
- Experience interpreting, explaining and applying policies and regulations.
