Opportunity to work with a leading Manitoba oil & gas exploration company. Instrumentation Technician reports to the Instrumentation Coordinator and is responsible for monitoring, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems in the field.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, benchmark and evaluate technology and field instruments to ensure proper operation, continuous improvements and reliability.
- Coordinate and effect the monitoring, installation, service and reconditioning of a variety of equipment, instruments and control systems.
- Perform repairs, installations and any work required to set up, align or otherwise prepare for operation.
- Conduct operational checks, monitor performance, troubleshoot and related maintenance to identify and diagnose process and equipment issues.
