Job Description
Become a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with Insight Medical Imaging’s dedicated team. This full-time position in Edmonton emphasizes patient care and technical excellence across multiple clinics.
You will rotate among 6 clinics, conducting Nuclear Medicine scans and cardiac stress tests while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key duties include quality control of imaging equipment and the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals. Collaborate closely with physicians to enhance diagnostic accuracy and contribute positively to patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quality control on gamma cameras and other equipment
• Oversee isotope and supply management for the department
• Administer patient doses and manage IV setups
• Interview patients and oversee their recovery
• Assist in various Nuclear Medicine diagnostic procedures
Requirements:
• Current certification in CPR
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certification
