In-House Litigation Counsel II at Intact

Intact is seeking an In-House Legal Counsel II with strong litigation skills to drive insurance defence initiatives within a supportive team. Work with autonomy and flexibility.
In this role, you will join Intact’s prominent legal claims team in Canada. You will be responsible for managing multiple insurance defence cases, carefully drafting legal documents, and participating in important mediations and trials. This position allows you to leverage your problem-solving abilities while working collaboratively to meet client and organizational goals effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and resolve diverse insurance litigation files
• Draft opinions, pleadings, and trial documents accurately
• Conduct mediations, applications, and pre-trial activities independently
• Work closely with legal professionals to enhance outcomes
