Job Description
Join SE Health as a Part-Time Immunization Nurse, providing crucial vaccinations to children in schools across Durham. Enhance community health from mid-August through December 2026.
This contract role offers the chance to make an immediate impact while working flexible shifts Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Candidates must be able to commit to 1-3 days per week. You'll administer vital HPV, Meningitis, and Hepatitis vaccines, promoting health within local educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer vaccines to children in various schools
• Schedule flexibility across weekdays
• Travel across Durham region locations
• Ensure proper documentation of immunizations
• Foster community relationships and educate parents
Requirements:
• Active Certificate of Competence with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution
