Position DutiesThe purpose of this position is to perform entry level duties installing, servicing and repairing a variety of residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC) equipment.Essential FunctionsAssists in the installation, operation, service, and repair of light commercial heat pump/air conditioning systems and other HVAC equipment such as refrigerators, fume hoods, window units, exhaust ventilators, coolers, deep freezers, and unit ventilators. Assists in the operation, service, and repair of pneumatic, electric, or electronic control systems on HVAC systems. Regulates and monitors air handling equipment, compressors, cooling tower fans and other related support equipment as prescribed by operating procedures.
