Human Resources Generalist - 1 year contract

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for a new full‑time, 1‑year fixed‑term contract to support a unionized production‑driven industrial manufacturing operation. This role is focused on employee relations, labour relations support, policy interpretation, HR administration, and legislative compliance, with a strong emphasis on practical application of the Employment Standards Act (ESA).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR generalist support to management and employees within a unionized industrial manufacturing environment
• Interpret and apply collective agreements, company policies, and employment legislation
• Support employee relations matters including discipline, attendance management, accommodation, investigations, and grievance support
• Administer HR processes such as:
• Employee lifecycle transactions (onboarding, role changes, terminations)
