We are seeking Health, Safety, and Environment Students for our Ottawa District, within our Canadian Buildings Division, that are available for 4 months from September 2026 to December 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the HSE Professional with inspections and incidental investigations
• Managing documents (e.g., data entry, SMC entries, taking minutes, filing etc.)
• Assisting with the orientation of new employees
• Developing training materials
• Reviewing paperwork (e.g., PSI, tailgate meetings, safework procedure, trend analysis)
• Monitoring and maintaining the environmental program
• Recognizing and following PCL and local legislative requirements
• Analyzing site-specific trends and incidents and reporting findings to district
