Position Overview
The HR Technology Lead is accountable for the operation, delivery, and ongoing improvement of Capital Power’s People Systems (HCM). This role leads day‑to‑day system operations, the delivery of enhancements and projects, vendor management, and the direct leadership of Workday Specialists. The role ensures People Systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with approved People & Culture priorities and governance, balancing operational stability with continuous improvement.

- Owning the health, performance, reliability, and sustainability of Capital Power’s People Systems (HCM), supporting a complex, multi‑application environment.
- Overseeing day‑to‑ incidents, enhancements, upgrades, releases, and configuration, in alignment with established Systems Delivery Life Cycle practices (testing, documentation, and change management).
