Hospitalist – Surrey Memorial Hospital
Join the Hospitalist Group at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH), one of BC’s busiest acute care centres and a flagship teaching site within the Fraser Health Region. This role focuses on developing a permanent acute care hospitalist practice.
Responsibilities
- Admit and manage “unattached” patients as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP).
- Provide supportive care for surgical and specialist medical patients.
- Demonstrate superior clinical and communication skills with exceptional bedside manner.
- Commit to the specialty of Hospital Medicine and participate in quality improvement and teaching initiatives.
Qualifications
- ACLS, CCFP, CMPA, CPSBC eligible for full license, CPSBC full.
- Strong interest in developing a permanent acute care hospitalist practice.
