Hospital Patient Services Clerk 1

Job Summary:
Provides administrative support for department of rehabilitation. Serves as front end, greeting patients and registering them in Medilinks and Epic. Schedules appointments, manages co-pay collection and completes other clerical duties.

We have sites in Manlius, Easy Syracuse, Camillus, Liverpool and then 3 sites in Syracuse itself. Everyone is given a homebase of where they will be assigned to work regularly but need to flex to the other sites on an as-needed basis to cover call ins and vacation of other staff members.
Minimum Qualifications:
The NYS Department of Civil Service has developed the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement (HELP) Program, Effective April 5th, 2023. During this program, the NYS Civil Service Exam requirements are suspended for the Hospital Patient Services Clerk 1, SG07 title.
