HOMELESSNESS OUTREACH WORKER (2 POSITIONS)
Location: VANCOUVER, BC
Type: Short-term (approx. up to 2 years)/Full-time
Salary: $64,991.02 – $75,143.40 annually
Position Summary
Reporting to the Coordinated Access and Assessment Manager, the Homelessness Outreach Worker connects with people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless in community locations. The incumbent assists individuals to navigate housing and related support systems, collaborates with shelters and supportive housing providers, and participates in the multidisciplinary regional homelessness and encampment response team (HEART) to prevent, minimize, and resolve encampments and respond to homelessness through coordination and rapid support for individuals sheltering outdoors.
