Home Support Worker/Caregiver

Description

We are looking for a responsible home support worker / caregiver to help take care of an elderly person with a disability in Markham, ON.

Work will be performed in the employer’s/client’s home. Public transportation is available. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment.

Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent.

Wage: $21 per hour for 30–44 hours per week.

Target Audience: Persons with a disability, Elderly, Male.

Education: Secondary (high) school certificate, college or other courses related to home support. First aid certification is preferred.

Work experience: Six months of work experience is preferred. Vulnerable sector check required.

Languages: English.
