Heavy Duty Mechanics

Essential Responsibilities

• Safe & cost‑effective maintenance of heavy mobile equipment
• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks, and support equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and site requirements
• Conduct pre‑trip/walk‑around safety inspections and complete daily field level hazard assessments for all activities
• Complete maintenance reporting and other documentation as required
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members
• Lead in safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures

• 3+ years of previous experience preferred
• Journeyperson certification from a recognized training authority
