IG Machine & Fibers Ltd. is a manufacturer of quality commercial and residential roofing products and part of the IKO Group of Companies. We presently have an opportunity for an HSE Co-op (8-month or 12-month contract) to join our team based in Brampton, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in ensuring training matrix is up to date, create a monthly training schedule, and support/guide supervisors on providing the trainingUpdate employee STOP card and Field Level Risk Assessment inputs and complianceLiaise with plant staff on health, safety and environmental issuesAssist in overseeing contractors and activities during on-site projects to ensure compliance with OH&S Act and Regulations in addition to all H&S site requirementsAssist in checking daily Work Permits as requiredMeet and update with the site HSE Specialist on a daily basisAssist in updating and monitoring Corporate a...
