Position Summary

Reporting to the Superintendent, Safety & Training, the Health & Safety Advisor will design, implement, and maintain the Seabee Gold Operation’s Safety, Health, and Environmental Management System (SHEMS) with a focus on risk management in the underground area.

The role includes oversight of safety and health training and mentorship of site supervisory personnel, demonstrating corporate H&S values and encouraging their adoption by staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and facilitate the development, administration, and maintenance of safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory H&S requirements, recommend corrections, and follow up on non‑compliance issues.
• Ensure that Workplace Safety Board (WCB) items are addressed in accordance with applicable laws.
