The Crowsnest Pass Health Centre offers a range of services in acute and continuing care, including a 24-hour emergency department, intensive care, x-ray, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, obstetrical, palliative, therapeutic and surgical services. As a Health Care Aide, you are a member of our nursing care team; you will demonstrate genuine interest and respect for our clients and utilize your knowledge, skills, and abilities to competently provide direct client centered care. This position is suitable for candidates who have a strong interest and skills in providing care to the elderly resident, including those diagnosed with Alzheimer disease or other dementias. Within the long-term care interdisciplinary team, the HCA is responsible for providing personal care and assisting with activities of daily living within the resident care plan.
