Head of Finance

Requirements

• Director-level finance experience at a SaaS company, ideally helping scale from ~$10M to $30M+ ARR
• Strong FP&A foundation — you've owned the operating model, budget vs. actuals, and rolling forecast in a software business
• Fluency in SaaS metrics (Rule of 40, burn multiple, NRR, GM, CAC payback, etc.)
• Proven experience producing strategic insights (e.g. an ICP analysis or similar) that changed business direction
• Hands-on modelling skills — you build the spreadsheet yourself before delegating
• Experience owning board deck creation and investor communications
• A track record of personally using AI to drive efficiency in finance workflows (close, forecasting, board prep, reporting, AR/AP, etc.)
• You build the model yourself before delegating, and don't outsource the thinking
• You pick up adjacent functions quickly and operate outside your job description without being asked
