Job Description
Join West Coast Floatation Systems as an HDPE Welder! Work outdoors in Cowichan Bay building durable marine infrastructure through quality HDPE welding.
We are seeking a hardworking HDPE Welder for our Dock Construction team. Candidates should be safety-oriented with experience in HDPE welding and a passion for hands-on outdoor work. This role offers the chance to independently tackle tasks on-site while contributing to the assembly of marine products made to last.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute HDPE welding using extrusion guns
• Collaborate with helpers on construction sites
• Fabricate and assemble dock components
• Ensure cleanliness and safety at work sites
• Operate forklifts and rigging as trained
Requirements:
• Proven HDPE welding/fusion background
• Basic knowledge of relevant tools and materials
• Physical ability to lift heavy items
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
