Hands-On PSW Student Experience

Develop your skills in a practical setting as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) student with Senior Persons Living Connected. This in-person placement will immerse you in senior care and community engagement.
Located at 3333 Finch Ave East, you will work from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The role focuses on assisting with personal care while ensuring a safe and engaging environment for seniors in a community-based setting. Your involvement is key to enhancing the quality of life for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients during mealtimes with safety monitoring
• Provide personal care, including toileting
• Engage in the safe transfer of clients
• Facilitate recreational activities and chair exercises
• Foster a positive and engaging client environment
Requirements:
• Enrollment in an approved PSW program
• Must be in good academic standing
