Hands-On General Accountant Position
Job Description
Join a family-run flooring company as a General Accountant in Vancouver, BC, with a focus on day-to-day accounting for up to three months. This role includes onsite responsibilities 5 days a week.
Reporting directly to the Controller, this urgent vacancy is ideal for those experienced in job costing and payroll processing. Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to ensure accurate invoicing and financial responsibilities across multiple projects. Expect a thorough handover until June 5 to facilitate a smooth transition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle job costing for various construction projects
• Post invoices in the ERP for supplier accuracy
• Manage bi-weekly payroll for hourly workers
• Provide month-end accounting support
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for audits
