Job Description
Homewood Health Centre is seeking a locum psychiatrist for its psychiatric ICU starting August 1, 2025. Engage in collaborative psychiatric care within a dynamic interdisciplinary team environment.
This position requires expertise in diagnosing and managing complex psychiatric disorders as you support patient recovery journeys. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, treatment planning, and ensuring the highest standards of care through detailed documentation and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead clinical care and treatment for assigned patients
• Collaborate with nursing and allied health staff
• Develop and document treatment plans and progress notes
• Provide ongoing supervision of patient care
• Submit timely OHIP billings and maintain best practices
Requirements:
• RCPS (C) Psychiatry certification or equivalent
