Grader Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate a grader to complete gravel operations and fine grading safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs (e.g., fueling, greasing, lubricating, cleaning).
• Complete equipment logs, maintenance records, and circle checks accurately.
• Communicate effectively using radios and work collaboratively with crew members.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and applicable OHSA regulations.
• Support overall site operations as needed to meet project requirements.
• Travel for extended periods across Ontario.

Requirements

• Experience operating a grader is strongly preferred.
• Alternatively, demonstrated mechanical aptitude and/or experience in paving, construction, or heavy equipment operation.
• Valid Class G driver’s licence with acceptable driver’s abstract.
