Grade Control Geologist Position - Rainy River

Exciting opportunity for an Open Pit Grade Control Geologist at Coeur Mining's Rainy River mine. Engage in geological oversight and ensure safety compliance daily.
In this role, you will report to the Senior Geologist and play a vital part in the grade control process, overseeing non-technical staff in geological activities. Your work will include mentoring teammates and ensuring the integrity of geological data. Collaboration with engineering teams will enhance operational productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce health and safety policies on-site
• Lead non-technical staff in data collection
• Collaborate with geologists to meet objectives
• Maintain quality assurance during sampling
• Assist in data reconciliation between mine and mill
Requirements:
• Four-year degree in geology
• At least 1 year of open pit mining experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Strong learning agility and independence
