• Proven successful teaching experience in a Division 2 classroom.
• Have a strong knowledge of Alberta Elementary curriculum.
• Possess knowledge and skills in evidence-based instructional practices in literacy and numeracy.
• Have an ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans.
• Have demonstrated ability creating a classroom characterized by inclusion, equity and differentiated instruction.
• Previous experience in establishing strong positive connection with students outside the classroom (i.e., clubs and teams).
