Grade 5 Teacher – 0.5 FTE

Location: Gateway Christian School

Dates: August 24, 2026 to June 30, 2027

Temporary position replacing a leave of absence.

Responsibilities

Teach grade 5 classes across Mathematics, Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and other option type classes as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret curriculum in a manner consistent with the school's mission.
• Must provide a detailed written statement attesting to suitability to teach in a faith-based school environment (mandatory).
• Must be able to develop relationships with students and work hard to ensure student success.

Additional Requirements

A current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check will be required.
