Vancouver Community Older Adult Mental Health is seeking a Geriatric Psychiatrist for part-time locum work. Enhance care for elderly patients by employing a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach.
In this role at Cambie Older Adults Mental Health Services, you will serve patients generally aged 65 and older facing various mental health issues. Work alongside a team of experts, utilizing your skills in psychopharmacology and community-based care. Responsibilities include supporting families, offering trauma-informed treatment, and liaising with hospital staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize team-based strategies for psychiatric care
• Provide consultations and ongoing support
• Employ culturally safe practices for Indigenous clients
