Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Geoscience Conventional Heavy Oil, the Contract Geophysicist will be accountable to work in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure reservoir development plans are optimized to meet business needs, enable the successful execution of our development plans, and support our long-term strategy.

This role will apply geophysical interpretation techniques, including advanced seismic inversion techniques, to characterize reservoir complexity, identify reservoir risks and propose development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Work with asset geologists, reservoir engineers and earthworks team to plan annual strat well program to delineate the reservoir, ensuring consistency in development practices and fostering effective communication.
