Job Description
Join the innovative team at Terra Remote Sensing Inc. as a Geomatics Technician focused on LiDAR processing in a remote setting. This full-time role is a 12-month contract starting April 2025.
This position targets recent graduates eager to gain experience in geomatics and aerial data processing. You will learn to process LiDAR data with comprehensive training, working 40 hours a week from home. The opportunity exists for a longer-term commitment if performance exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead LiDAR classification and analysis processes
• Support quality control efforts for data delivery
• Engage in special projects to enhance departmental efficiency
Requirements:
• Relevant academic background or recent graduate
• Strong communication capabilities
• Organized approach to data management
• Aptitude for working with 3D point clouds is a plus
• Experience with data processing tools preferred
