Job Description Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the General Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Chateau Nova Peace River located in Peace River, Alberta. This is accomplished through budgeting and financial management, maintaining cost and quality standards, maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees, and exceeding guest expectations.
Provide leadership in service and innovation while creating a working environment that fosters career growth and development for our team members.
Operations
Manage all sources of revenue to include rooms, food & beverage, and others. Focus would be on securing new business while maintaining established cost and quality standards, maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees and exceeding guest expectations
Promote hotel’s policies and philosophies to employees and guests through direct and indirect interaction
