Job Overview

Agilus is recruiting for several General Labourers in the Waste Management sector in Truro, Nova Scotia. The labourers will support the cleanup of a wooded encampment area within Truro. This work is part of a broader effort to help restore and maintain community spaces so they can be safely enjoyed by the public.

Work Details

This is hands‑on, physically demanding work that requires working off‑trail in wooded terrain and removing materials from areas not easily accessible by vehicles.

A typical day includes:

• Clearing debris and materials from a wooded site
• Lifting, carrying, and hauling materials out of the area
• Navigating uneven ground, brush, and forested terrain
• Supporting a team to efficiently complete the cleanup project

Compensation & Hours
