General Internal Medicine / Intensivist Physician, Full Time & Locum Opportunities

Opportunity

GBGH is seeking locum General Internal Medicine / Intensivist to staff the General Medicine service, GIM Stress Test Clinic, and Level 3 Basic Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities

ICU Coverage

• Seven (7) day shifts of ICU Most Responsible Physician duty in 8 bed unit
• Weekend shifts may also be available
• Must be competent in airway management including non‑invasive ventilation, intubation and invasive ventilation, and invasive monitoring including central line and arterial line insertion

On‑Call

• The GBGH Internists will arrange their schedule to ensure coverage 24 x 7 x 365 for response to Emergency Department consultations, Inpatient consultations and ICU Most Responsible Physician Duty
• Read ECG, PFTs when on call
