Join the Correctional Center as a General Help/Cashier, focusing on food preparation and sanitation. Ensure meals are properly prepped while managing cleanliness and safety compliance.
This role encompasses various food service duties, including preparing and cooking meals according to schedules. You will weigh, count, and store ingredients properly, ensuring high standards of sanitation are met. Effective management of meal trays and communication with team members are also integral to this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook foods as per prep schedule
• Portion meal trays according to dietary needs
• Maintain cleanliness of work and storage areas
• Operate cash register and follow meal ticket processes
• Perform additional duties as required during off-service hours
Requirements:
• Must have Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
• Required to pass a clean criminal background check
• Valid Food Safe level 1 certification needed
