General Counsel and Director, Risk & Legal

Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy, Quality & Risk & Communications, the General Counsel and Director, Risk & Legal provides strategic and operational leadership for the risk management program, and legal services across the organization. This role ensures that Brant Community Healthcare System operates in compliance with applicable legislation, minimizes organizational risk, and upholds the highest standards safety, and accountability.

The role provides expert legal counsel on a broad range of healthcare, corporate, and regulatory matters. This position works collaboratively with senior leadership, and external partners to support high-quality patient care and organizational effectiveness.
