Overview

The Department of Internal Medicine at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (UHNBC) is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our team. A candidate with broad training in Gastroenterology is required. Those with additional training in subspecialty areas will be welcome.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working alongside two other gastroenterologists providing out-patient and inpatient consultation services. The position offers a unique blend of community practice and academic opportunities. The role includes opportunities to develop subspecialist services (e.g., Capsule Endoscopy). UHNBC is fully equipped for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound. The department supports GI motility, liver elastography, and fecal transplant service.
