Job Description
Take charge as the Manager of Fund Accounting with our investment fund management client in the Greater Toronto Area. Oversee financial functions, including trusts, fund accounting, and regulatory compliance.
This managerial role requires 3-4 years of experience in financial services and an Accounting/CPA designation. You will directly report to the SVP Finance and collaborate with executive management while handling key accounting responsibilities such as maintaining ledgers, preparing financial statements, and ensuring timely reporting of Net Asset Values (NAVs).
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain IMS trust accounts ledger and prepare journal entries
• Review and report NAVs in collaboration with administrators
• Oversee annual audits and manage fund expenses
• Maintain general ledger and assist with GST filings
• Provide internal reporting and support budget preparations
